Welcome!

Welcome! This is a place to share how we celebrate & deepen our relationship to Nature. Here you will find stories, images, & ideas about wilderness, human nature, & soulfulness. Drawing from the experiences of everyday living, the topics on this blog include: forays into the natural world, the writing life, community service, meditation, creativity, grief & loss, inspiration, & whatever else emerges from these. I invite you on this exploration of the wild within & outside of us: the inner/outer landscape.

Gratitude

This is “the season” for counting our blessings. But every day is a good one for remembering that for which we are grateful.

For whom and for what are you grateful? How will you acknowledge your gratitude? In what ways can you demonstrate, or act upon, this cultivated gratitude?

Here are a few images that remind me how thankful I am to be surrounded by nature’s beauty no matter where I go.

For those of you who followed my writing challenge and held me accountable, here is my
JGWM final word count:  50,099!
Yes, I reached my goal of writing fifty thousand words in the month of November. I am still writing because the manuscript is not finished. But the intensity of the challenge is over…
I think I will take a few naps now in these remaining days of the month.
It was so good not to be alone in this work. Thank you for your support!
