Welcome!

Welcome! This is a place to share how we celebrate & deepen our relationship to Nature. Here you will find stories, images, & ideas about wilderness, human nature, & soulfulness. Drawing from the experiences of everyday living, the topics on this blog include: forays into the natural world, the writing life, community service, meditation, creativity, grief & loss, inspiration, & whatever else emerges from these. I invite you on this exploration of the wild within & outside of us: the inner/outer landscape.

Monday Musings WRITING TIP: “Geography of Within”

TEALarbor stories’ Monday Musings are quotes, mantras, reveries, poems, & practices offering simple ways to explore the ecotone of the inner/outer landscape.

What writing or life tasks do you find beckoning to you at this late winter juncture? What fork in the road can you take that would offer an awakening of what has lain dormant inside you? Take a blank sheet of paper, turn it landscape orientation, and begin to map out the territory you’d like to move into. Allow everything that comes to show up on the page. Use colors or images if that pleases you. Just as the landscape outside of you has hills, valleys, flora and fauna, changing light and seasons, so, too, does your inner landscape; choose a path to explore.
