Welcome!

Welcome! This is a place to share how we celebrate & deepen our relationship to Nature. Here you will find stories, images, & ideas about wilderness, human nature, & soulfulness. Drawing from the experiences of everyday living, the topics on this blog include: forays into the natural world, the writing life, community service, meditation, creativity, grief & loss, inspiration, & whatever else emerges from these. I invite you on this exploration of the wild within & outside of us: the inner/outer landscape.

Monday Musings WRITING TIP: “May Reveries”

TEALarbor stories’ Monday Musings are quotes, mantras, reveries, poems, & practices offering simple ways to explore the ecotone of the inner/outer landscape.

Use the word “May” to entice yourself across the landscape oriented paper; it is your writing prompt – written in the top corner of your page. Grab your favorite colored pen and allow whatever words, phrases, memories, thoughts, dreams that are evoked from the prompt to flow from, and fill the spaciousness before, you. The landscape outside feels more stable again – spring has fully arrived on trees; the grasses are tall; the blue clear sky winks down on us. But things are quietly afoot out there, always transitioning moment by moment. Capture this as you journal.
