TEALarbor stories’
Monday Musings are quotes, poems, & practices offering simple ways to
explore the ecotone of the inner/outer landscape.
Take
a few moments to stand outside in the direct sunlight. Lift your face, close
your eyes, and quiet your mind. Feel how the sun kisses your nose, blankets
your cheeks, brushes your eyelids, caresses your chin. Notice the intensity of
the heat, the brightness, the color that shifts behind your unseeing eyes.
Sunflowers also turn their beautiful faces to the warm light; consider how you
are rooted, standing tall, facing a source of nourishment.
