Welcome!

Welcome! This is a place to share how we celebrate & deepen our relationship to Nature. Here you will find stories, images, & ideas about wilderness, human nature, & soulfulness. Drawing from the experiences of everyday living, the topics on this blog include: forays into the natural world, the writing life, community service, meditation, creativity, grief & loss, inspiration, & whatever else emerges from these. I invite you on this exploration of the wild within & outside of us: the inner/outer landscape.

Monday Musings WRITING PRACTICE: “Fall Away”

TEALarbor stories’ Monday Musings are quotes, poems, & practices offering simple ways to explore the ecotone of the inner/outer landscape.

The fall equinox is nearly here. As so many of us return to routines and schedules, we also have an opportunity to let go of those things that no longer serve us. What attitude, task, constraint, problem are you willing to release in order to better focus on your passionate life path? Of what little things can you free yourself in order to live into your expansive potential? Write down a few of these things. Just as the fiery leaves naturally and softly are released from the branch so the tree can live through winter, so too we gently let things fall away so we are able to thrive.
