Welcome!

Welcome! This is a place to share how we celebrate & deepen our relationship to Nature. Here you will find stories, images, & ideas about wilderness, human nature, & soulfulness. Drawing from the experiences of everyday living, the topics on this blog include: forays into the natural world, the writing life, community service, meditation, creativity, grief & loss, inspiration, & whatever else emerges from these. I invite you on this exploration of the wild within & outside of us: the inner/outer landscape.

Of Seeds

A seed might be tiny. But it can grow into a very monumental thing: a miracle of enormity.

Plant a seed.

Nurture it. (Air. Light. Warmth. Abidance. Care.)

In my life there are:

seeds of work projects
seeds of writing
seeds of outreach
seeds of personal renewal
seeds of compassion
seeds of presence
seeds of peace
seeds of memory
seeds of connection with land/nature
seeds of interconnection with other humans

What small but mighty potential lies within you?

When afraid, plant seeds of hope.

When weary, plant seeds of nurturance.

When sad, plant seeds of connection.
