Hearth: comfort, beauty, nourishment for the soul

TEALarbor stories’ “Hearth” series offers a tiny, gentle respite during this incredible transition we’re in. Rest for a few seconds here in the hearth of nature and creativity. 

"Growing Beauty"

Lichen hangs on these trees, reminding me of the many strands of fiber that comprise a weaving. If you imagine the horizontal boughs as the weft of this tapestry, you might notice how the intersection of draping green filaments and tree limbs makes apparent the various shapes of the forest. How comforting that we are all held together as one design: a beautifully woven biotic community.
