I thought I was capturing the tiny white flower buds clumped in the upper right hand corner of the image; they had been my focus. But when I viewed this photograph on the screen, I realized the predominant dried fiber strewn across varied textures and colors of grasses creates a collage of incredible beauty. A whole. A composition that includes foreground, background and midground... depth and spontaneity in beautiful symmetry.
