Welcome!

Welcome! This is a place to share how we celebrate & deepen our relationship to Nature. Here you will find stories, images, & ideas about wilderness, human nature, & soulfulness. Drawing from the experiences of everyday living, the topics on this blog include: forays into the natural world, the writing life, community service, meditation, creativity, grief & loss, inspiration, & whatever else emerges from these. I invite you on this exploration of the wild within & outside of us: the inner/outer landscape.

Monday Musings NATURE TIP: “Gratitude Expressed”

TEALarbor stories’ Monday Musings are quotes, mantras, reveries, poems, & practices offering simple ways to explore the ecotone of the inner/outer landscape.

Choose one thing for which you are grateful (perhaps drawing from last Monday’s activity posted here). In your yard or somewhere outside near where you live, create an offering out of natural items you find there. Use leaves, stones, seedpods, weeds, sticks, flowers, dirt, snow, water. Create spirals, circles, a stone pile, the shape of letters to spell out your gratitude. Make it as simple or elaborate as you want. Let it remain there for passersby to enjoy. Allow the weather to naturally reclaim your gratitude offering.
