Welcome!

Welcome! This is a place to share how we celebrate & deepen our relationship to Nature. Here you will find stories, images, & ideas about wilderness, human nature, & soulfulness. Drawing from the experiences of everyday living, the topics on this blog include: forays into the natural world, the writing life, community service, meditation, creativity, grief & loss, inspiration, & whatever else emerges from these. I invite you on this exploration of the wild within & outside of us: the inner/outer landscape.

Monday Musings WRITING TIP: “New Year Notes”

TEALarbor stories’ Monday Musings are quotes, mantras, reveries, poems, & practices offering simple ways to explore the ecotone of the inner/outer landscape.

What better time than the first Monday of the year to ponder your intentions for the next twelve months! Consider your body, emotions, mind, and soul as you free-write in your journal some practices to carry you through the next four seasons. Just as the bear fills up on late fall foods in preparation for hibernation; or as the cherry tree rests leafless in winter; or as the finch builds a spring nest; or as the cat sheds her fur for summer’s heat, so too can you prepare your whole self for the life seasons to come.
